FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for finishing working of machine parts. A part is fed longitudinally. Working is performed by discs of sandpaper impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde lacquer to enhance rigidity. Discs are positioned on mandrel at an angle to axis of rotation. Use is made of sandpaper of different abrasive granularity, and discs are arranged on mandrel in order of abrasive granularity decreasing. Operating surface of discs is coated with lubricating medium containing vacant abrasive with characteristic corresponding to that of disc abrasive. EFFECT: improved quality of worked surfaces. 1 dwg
