FIELD: machine engineering, possibly finish abrasive treatment of machine parts. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting lengthwise reciprocation feed to part; realizing abrasive treatment by means of rotating discs mounted on mandrel; using disc made of grinding cloth impregnated with bakelite vanish; rigidly joining their non-working surfaces with insert-disc; charging inside insert-disc technological cutting fluid; applying onto working surface of discs made of grinding cloth cutting fluid whose viscosity value is more than that of cutting fluid inside insert-disc. It allows to perform polishing during doubled stroke of part at intensive different-sign action of tool. EFFECT: enhanced quality of part surfaces. 1 dwg
