FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing sol, adding fibers to sol, converting sol into gel, optionally substituting liquid contained in gel, modifying surface of gel, optionally substituting liquid contained in gel, drying the resulting gel at temperature lower than critical temperature of liquid contained in gel and at pressure from 0.001 bar to vapor pressure of said liquid at above-mentioned temperature.
