FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of composite materials. The system for the industrial production of a fiber-reinforced aerogel panel contains a reaction tank with a movable box for receiving a set of fiber mats. The system also provides a set of plates for keeping fiber mats at a distance from each other. A method for manufacturing the fiber-reinforced aerogel panel includes the production of silicate sol. Then, the set of fiber mats and a corresponding number of intermediate plates are alternately placed in the reaction tank. Then, silicate sol is introduced into the reaction tank and gelation is started. After gelation, the reaction solution is drained and intermediate plates are removed. Formed fiber-reinforced aerogel panels are dried.

EFFECT: invention allows minimizing the number of recycled solvents and eliminates labor-intensive recycling processes.
