FIELD: locking appliances. SUBSTANCE: device can be used in any branch of industry where for locking certain objects it is feasible to use flexible link in the form of length of wire rope for example in railway cars or cargo containers. In flexible device, one end of rope piece is preliminarily rigidly fixed in body. Second end of rope piece for locking is inserted through body and secured in it by means of fastening members located in seating points of holder. Body is made in the form of thin-wall sleeve. Insert is located in its internal space. Rope fixing members are made in the form of four similar flat cylindrical rollers located in seating points of holder with possibility of interaction at locking with side surface of rope piece and with internal tapered surface of insert through its side surfaces. At locking, central axes of four rollers are located in common plane which is perpendicular to aligned axes of inlet hole and outlet hole in body, of insert, and also longitudinal axis of piece of rope located in body at locking. Aforesaid embodiment of device ensures higher functional reliability and high force of locking. In addition it is simple in manufacture and design. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 9 cl, 2 dwg
