SUBSTANCE: invention describes the method of synthesis of the novel 2-substituted benzo[b] thiophene of the general formula (I) where values R¹ and R² are given in p. 1 of the invention claim. Method involves the synthesis of boronic acid derivative followed by its coupling with the compound of the formula X-C₆H₄-R² where X means bromine or iodine atoms and R² means H, OH or OR⁴ where R⁴ means hydroxy-protective group.
