Its upper part houses heat insulation boss or top. Upper part of wall of mould has members or rings from penetrable material for supply of oil and/or gas. Upper member or ring is meant to feed oil and is placed above zone of hardening front of metal. Lower member or ring is intended for supply of gas, is located opposite to hardening front of metal and extends from lower part of mould beyond point of contact between metal and wall of mould.
