FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry engineering. Method and facility includes at least, one form with hollow (11), which is outfitted by entry (4), connected to metal storage, and exit with facilities for metal cooling so that through this exit it is mould product in the form of elongated bar, ingots, (25) or blank for wire. Metal is fed into form so and with such regulation that metal static pressure in the contact point (solidification point) with wall of form is almost equal to zero during the casting.
EFFECT: improvement of method of continuous or semicontinuous casting of metals.
