FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: delivery water returned from users is heated in heating-system heaters of extraction turbines and in water boilers. Temperature of delivery water supplied to users is maintained at desired level depending on ambient temperature according to heating- system temperature curve. Delivery water leakage is compensated for by makeup water which is specially treated to remove scale deposits according to temperature conditions of water boilers. Delivery water returned from users is divided into two parallel flows of which one is passed through heating-system heaters under base conditions and other one is heated in water boilers under peak-demand conditions; thus heated water flows are mixed up prior to being supplied to users; temperature of total delivery-water flow is controlled according to lower temperature curve of heating system; anti-scale treatment of makeup water is conducted using simplified process scheme. EFFECT: improved reliability and economic efficiency of thermal power plant. 1 dwg
