FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, methods and devices for production of metal clusters in supersonic flow. SUBSTANCE: method includes generation of plasma, evaporation and condensation of metal or alloy in plasma and injection of substance for particle binding. Injection of particle binding substance is made in to zone of flow of rarefaction of supersonic vapor-gas for provision of clusters condensation and their subsequent encapsulation on molecules of particle binding substance. Device for method embodiment has a plasma generator, appliance for supply of clusters binding substance, clusters accumulator with case. Installed on the plasma generator is a flat nozzle. Appliance for supply of clusters binding substance is placed in space between the plasma generator body and flat nozzle and made in the form of horseshoe-shaped piston and two rows of porous inserts installed in wall of cluster accumulator. The first row is located in place where flat nozzle wall and wall of cluster accumulator body form convex angle, and the second row of inserts is located near inlet holes of cases installed in flat channels of clusters accumulator. EFFECT: production of clusters sizing less than 10 nm with minimal difference in dispersity; prolonged storage of clusters. 8 cl, 4 dwg
