FIELD: photosensitive devices for detecting heat radiation. SUBSTANCE: infrared detector has Dewar flask formed by external cylinder with input port and internal cooled cylinder mounting photodetector matrix chip secured on holder in the form of plate provided with posts installed directly on end surface of cooled cylinder. Plate may be of rectangular shape with posts arranged at its corners or it may be round with posts arranged symmetrically and equally spaced apart; contact groups of signal leads are arranged over perimeter of plate made of silicon, aluminum nitride, or sapphire; photodetector matrix chip is secured on plate at two opposite sides. EFFECT: reduced mass being cooled, reduced warm-up period and labor consumption for detector assembly. 5 cl, 2 dwg
