FIELD: photosensitive devices intended for detection of thermal radiation. SUBSTANCE: infrared radiation detector includes vacuumed Dewar flask with external and internal input windows fixed in frame, crystal with photosensitive elements mounted on substrate on cooled holder opposite to windows. Base of holder is linked to frame, face of holder is fitted with heat-sink made of material which thermal conductivity is greater than thermal conductivity of substrate, space around holder is filled with dried gas which crystallization temperature is higher than working temperature of detector at which pressure of saturated vapors of gas above its solid phase does not exceed 10-4 mm Hg. At working temperature space is vacuumed to 10-4 mm Hg which contributes to decrease of heat input to elements of structure since exactly this vacuum is required for qualitative transfer from convective heat transfer to radioactive heat transfer. EFFECT: improved thermophysical characteristics of detector: diminished cooled mass, reduced time for transition to operational condition. 1 cl, 1 dwg
