FIELD: detection of thermal radiation. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to photosensitive devices meant for detection of thermal radiation, specifically, to cooled semiconductor IR radiation detectors. Given IR radiation detector includes Dewar flask formed by outer cylinder with input window and inner cooled cylinder which carries crystal of photodetecting matrix anchored on inner side of upper panel of hollow holder with rectangular hole. U- shaped holder has hole extending over entire width of upper panel and is mounted directly on face surface of cooled cylinder. Upper panel extends with reference to its side walls. Crystal of photodetecting matrix is anchored on to two opposite edges of hole in inner side of upper panel which ensures thermal contact in zone of maximum dissipation power in crystal. In specific cases holder can be manufactured from aluminum, sapphire or silicon. EFFECT: diminished cooled mass, efficient heat removal, simplified assembly and technological mounting of thermal contacts and signal electric leads-out of crystal of photodetecting matrix. 6 cl, 4 dwg
