FIELD: protection video observation systems with provision for survey of space in front of entrance at any time of day. SUBSTANCE: system for video observation of space in front of entrance door has observation unit installed inside room and video peep-hole formed by TV camera with charge-coupled device located in entrance door, lens, optical extension incorporating at least one optical element anchored in its body by outer nut of entrance peep-hole put on outer side of entrance door. Optical extension of video peep-hole is optically coupled through hole made in entrance door to lens of TV camera with charge-coupled device of video peep-hole. It is composed of N optical elements where 1 ≤ N <5 interconnected by means of external surfaces and optically coupled. Optical element is manufactured in the form of lens. One mounting seat as minimum for optical element is made inside body of optical extension. TV camera is also sensitive to infrared radiation. System provides for secret video observation at any time of day. Video peep-hole ensures angle of video observation exceeding 145 deg along diagonal of image which is sufficient for perfect observation of entire space in front of entrance door.
