FIELD: shipbuilding; submersible vessels breaking ice cover by resonance flexural gravitational waves. SUBSTANCE: method consists in increase of tensile stresses in ice cover at constant parameters of flexural gravitational waves through creation of thermal shock. Thermal shock is formed by delivery of superheated liquid under ice at area of forming of wave trough. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of breaking ice cover. 1 dwg
