FIELD: shipbuilding; submarine vessels breaking ice cover by resonance flexural gravitational waves. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes exciting resonance flexural gravitational waves in ice when ship runs at resonance speed and forming areas at reduced and increased pressures under wave trough and crest by exciting centrifugal and centripetal forces causes by rotation of impellers located in upper portion of ship s hull. Periodicity of creating areas of reduced and increased pressures is ensured by switching on/off impellers. Duration of switching on/off of impellers is equal to halfperiod of resonance waves. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of breaking ice cover by submarine vessel. 1 dwg
