ALLOY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2149915 C1

FIELD: machine building, more particularly for worn-out component operating under conditions of dynamic load. SUBSTANCE: alloy comprises wt %: carbon, 1.42- 2.33: silicon, 0.48-1.24; manganese, 1.84-4.05; chrome, 4.4-8.5; vanadium, 2.93-7.42; copper, 0.43-1.81; molybdenum, 0.10-1.12; aluminium, 0.03-0.26; rare-earth metals, 0.02-0.18; and iron, the balance. EFFECT: higher stability properties and elimination of microcracks in self-hardening ingots; higher hardenability of alloy, high hardness and wear resistance and increased total volume of damping phases, namely residual austenite and cuprous phase, in alloy structure.
