FIELD: chemistry, metallurgy, food industry, ecology, in particular, for monitoring of natural and drain waters and biological objects. SUBSTANCE: device has measuring chamber, which is designed as either pneumonic two-port or non-circulating chamber using segment-slit access and has electrodes, which are made from graphite plates as segments and are arranged in parallel to one another. One electrode is used for preparation of sample. They embrace section-insulation flexible working electrode, which has alternating working, insulating and contact regions. Additional electrode is connected through resistor to section-insulation flexible working electrode. In addition device has mixer, which is driven by electric motor. In addition device may have mechanism for cleaning working surface of electrodes. EFFECT: increased speed and simplified process, increased precision and sensitivity of analysis (detection threshold is up to 1 mcg/l), increased range of elements to be detected, elimination of metallic mercury and its soluble saline compounds. 2 cl, 4 dwg
