FIELD: preparation of road building materials, more particularly construction and repair of highways. SUBSTANCE: modifying additive of asphalt- concrete mix includes organomineral slurry which is product resulting from purifying sewage at car manufacturing plants. Mineral component of slurry contains finest particles of abrasive, Ca and Mg carbonates (specific surface is 610 sq.m/kg. Organic component is represented by spent spindle or thermal oils, namely aromatic hydrocarbons, and dispersion medium is water. Ratio of mineral, organic components and water is 1:1:0.2. Ratio of asphalt-concrete mix components are as follows: bitumen, 5.0-5.6; mineral carbonate powder, 14.46-15.06; sand, 77.94; organomineral slag, 2-4. EFFECT: higher crack resistance and water resistance of asphalt-concrete mix based on mineral carbonate powder with improved quality properties and also reduced cost price due to smaller amount of binding agent and lower requirements for preparation purposes. 1 tbl
