FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: indium-containing zinc cakes are rolled with solid carbon reducing substance in presence of chlorine-containing material supplied with high- pressure air from lower bell of furnace onto material being rolled at 1-50- 1150 C. EFFECT: reduced losses with clinker and lowered level of chlorine in rotary-kiln oxide.
