FIELD: firearm ammunition. SUBSTANCE: bullet of one modification has a metal envelope with a body, press-fitted in which is a plastic tailplane. The latter has a central cavity in the form of a cylinder or truncated cone, or their combination turning into a cylindrical cavity relative to the smaller diameter or into a tapered cavity in the body nose. The length of the cavity in the tailplane may make up to 0.8, and that of the cylindrical cavity of a smaller diameter or tapered cavity in the nose - up to 0.95 of the bullet length. In the other modification the cavity may be cylinder - or taper-shaped and pass over a distance up to 0.9 of the bullet length. EFFECT: enhanced close grouping of shots. 4 cl, 1 dwg
