FIELD: design of high-power supply sources for electric welding equipment. SUBSTANCE: current and voltage converter includes transformer that has gap between core and primary and secondary windings for passage of flow of cooling agent forced through by fan. Winding of cooling agent attached to core of transformer is placed in circuit of primary winding of transformer to limit inrushes of output current caused by change of value of current which leads to intensive cooling of cores and windings of choke and transformer. EFFECT: generation of high output power with optimal dimensions and mass characteristics. 5 cl, 4 dwg
