FIELD: microwave engineering; frequency-division devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed diplexer has cylindrical waveguide section, input coaxial connector orthogonally mounted relative to this waveguide cylindrical wall, and coupling loops with input cylindrical dielectric cavities of first and second passband filters. Output cylindrical dielectric cavities of first and second passband filters are electromagnetically coupled with output coupling loops connected to respective output coaxial connectors. Metal wall with hole is disposed in cross-sectional area of cylindrical waveguide section. Metal wall hole is disposed at point of installation of input connector whose central conductor is disposed in this hole in parallel with metal wall surface; coupling loops with input cavities of first and second passband filters are connected to input connector conductor and each is disposed in parallel with metal wall surface on its opposite sides. All diplexer connectors are connected to microwave-circuit transmission lines.
EFFECT: reduced loss in frequency-channel passbands.
