FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic pulse diagnosis techniques for examining distal portions of posterior tibial artery (C), foot back artery (D), distal portion of ileac segment (A), distal portion of femoropopliteal segment (B). Blood flow type (T) is determined in distal portion of each arterial segment as changed type in main blood vessel (MC), collateral compensated one that is more than one half less in amplitude of collateral decompensated blood flow above the lying segment (0.5K), collateral decompensated one (K). Diagnostic coefficient is calculated from a formula F=TA+TB+TC+TD, where TA is the blood flow in the distal portion of ileac segment of the extremity, TB is the blood flow in the distal portion of femoropopliteal segment of the extremity, TC is the blood flow in the distal portion of posterior tibial artery of the extremity, TD is the blood flow in the distal portion of foot back artery of the extremity. The calculated blood flow types of corresponding distal portions of the arterial segments are substituted into the formula structure. When F= MC+MC+MC+MC, compensated blood circulation stage diagnosis is to be set. When F= MC+MC+K+MC or F= MC+MC+MC+K or F= MC+MC+K+K, first stage ischemia diagnosis is to be set. F= MC+K+K+K being the case, 2A stage ischemia diagnosis is to be set. F= MC+K+D+K or F= MC+K+K+D or F= K+K+K+K or F= K+K+D+K or F= K+K+K+D being the case, 2B stage ischemia diagnosis is to be set. F= MC+K+D+D or F= K+K+D+D or F= K+0.5K+D+K or F= K+0.5K+K+D being the case, third stage ischemia diagnosis is to be set. F= K+0.5K+D+D or F= K+D+D+D being the case, fourth stage ischemia diagnosis is to be set. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of diagnosis. 1 tbl
