FIELD: analyzing fabric structure by using computer photographic survey method. SUBSTANCE: primary business graphic information about item fragment is perceived in step-by-step manner; it is first disintegrated into parts, hypotheses on their geometric and optical parameters are proposed, clearances are found as areas of darkest tint, their size and that of transverse threads are determined by respective constructions, then data on irregularity of cross-sections are used for correcting geometric model whereon starting line and desired size area are arranged at intersection of weft and core threads; desired size area is displaced along weft thread and in the process gray tints are identified and perceived as array of numbers used later on to determine semitone boundaries; information is stored according to desired number of threads, processed, superposed onto corrected geometric model, and semitones are applied according to mean values with the result that computer model including a priori additional and business graphic information is obtained. EFFECT: improved precision of contactless analysis of textiles structure. 6 dwg
