FIELD: connection of several optical wires. SUBSTANCE: device has waveguide element with waveguide channel, which is designed as integral whole to substrate and spicing material. Waveguide channel is filled with optically transparent material until its connection to fibers. In one embodiment, device has lower plate, covering plate and upper plate, which are mounted in common housing. Lower plate has grooves for holding fibers and grooves for centering ends of fibers. Fiber centering grooves are joined to waveguide channels, which are located in central part of lower plate. Covering plate is produced by connection of cores of waveguide channels, so that it presses out residual hardened waveguide material into grooves, which are adjacent to waveguide channels. Said material connects lower and covering plates after hardening. Upper plate is used for fixation of fibers, which are held in fiber centering grooves, so that center of fibers are aligned with core of waveguide channels. Device housing has wedges, which are actuated independently for mounting fibers with possibility of detachable connection in arbitrary device terminal. EFFECT: possibility to produce detachable connection in field situation, decreased probability of destruction of fibers. 24 cl, 8 dwg
