FIELD: plant genetics. SUBSTANCE: some amount of unripe hemicarps of each generation of backcrossing are separated from inflorescence 12-14 days after insemination. Each hemicarp is cut into two parts. One of them, containing germ, is germinated on nutrient medium immediately after separation from inflorescence. The other is used to determine genotype of hemicarps, in particular from data of biochemical analysis. Heterozygous species are then selected and their germs are used to grow reproductive plants, which, as paternal form, are mixed with recipients to obtain next generation of backcrossing. EFFECT: enabled separation of heterozygous genotypes of backcrossing plants in early phase of seed ripening with no loss of germ vitality. 7 cl, 1 tbl
