FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting maternal forms and paternal forms having visually determined dominant features alternative to those of maternal forms; effecting joint sowing of parental forms on plots 30-45 days later than optimal time for crop in pattern providing separate repollination stories, each comprising several plots; sowing central rows of plots of each repollination story with seed mixture of paternal and maternal forms in the ratio of 1:1, and sowing two outer rows of plants with seeds of paternal form; providing protective story between repollination stories and sowing it with seeds of form free of dominant paternal features; treating parental form during growing at mass flowering period with attractants, in particular, bee attractants. When selecting maternal plants, 2-3 upper productive nodes on leaders and suckers of each plant are discarded. After threshing of maternal plants, produced seeds are sorted by size on screens, undersized and oversized seeds being discarded. Seeds obtained after threshing are let germinate in field or natural conditions. Hybrid plants are separated by dominant paternal features by visual examination of sprouts or mature plants. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing optimal conditions for directed soya repollination and reduced amount of material to be analyzed and further used for separating hybrid plants. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
