FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting off furnace slag at melt discharge end; producing synthetic slag in ladle in the process of filling ladle while blowing metal with inert gas; upon formation of synthetic slag, adding coke fines with fraction size of 3-10 mm onto surface of synthetic slag, and holding metal for 5-15 min prior to pouring process; further isolating slag surface from environment by, for instance, lined cover. Method allows usage of ferromanganese to be reduced by 1 kg per 1 t of steel, and of aluminum by 0.1 kg per 1 t of steel, and conversion and refuse to be omitted. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced loss of metal by adhesion to ladle wall and bottom during pouring process. 2 cl
