FIELD: mining industry, underground working of coal stratified deposits. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at simplification of design of railway mobile power plant-gantry, at conducting of operations for its travel, at reduction of its length to size of guarding pillar near haulage drift, at usage of normal belt conveyers of high productivity in sectional drift and at total mechanization of movement of drift equipment without auxiliary and labor-consuming operations during production shift. Railway mobile power plant-gantry includes power units installed on wheeled cars, pump stations, magnetic station, sprinkling drive, auxiliary equipment and flight conveyer-reloader arranged in parallel to railway mobile power plant-gantry whose boom part is positioned above drift conveyer. Each wheeled car is manufactured in the form of T-shaped frame with two double-flange wheels under vertical part of frame and attachment members, for example, pins in upper horizontal part of frame which are interlinked with the aid of longitudinal tubular girders with formation of common and continuous horizontal surface lifted clear of ground for placement of boom part of flight conveyer-reloader mounted on face side of drift and power units mounted on side opposite to breakage face, close to drift passageway. Narrow gauge way for wheeled cars is displaced from face side of drift towards passageway to free space on ground under boom part of shortened conveyer-reloader for location of line part of first sectional drift conveyer on ground. For movement of railway mobile power plant there are two sectional guides periodically laid on ground in path of its travel and ram whose one end is coupled to last wheeled car and whose second end is tied to head of flight conveyer. Process of movement of railway mobile power plant-gantry towards advance of breakage face includes movement of sections of support pulled to flight to pick up roof after removal of belt with coal, stopping of flight and outward thrust of sections of support, switching on of ram of movement of railway mobile power plant-gantry, pushing of wheeled cars of railway mobile power plant-gantry away from fixed flight and advance of flight on to face. All power units are moved simultaneously with flight conveyer-reloader on same wheeled cars, boom part of flight conveyer-reloader is moved above drift flight conveyer mounted between flight conveyer-reloader and drift belt conveyer whose length is reduced after complete run-over of flight conveyer-reloader on to drift flight conveyer.
