FIELD: heat and power production, in particular, for house heating. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating fuel simultaneously with direct and reverse power converting thermodynamic cycles. Vapor production in reverse thermodynamic cycle uses power of residual heat of working body condensation loop and mechanical or electric power of direct thermodynamic cycle respectively. Equipment set has steam-power unit loop with circulation loop for working body condensation, heating main, and heat users. Equipment has heat pumps with basic charts for their positioning depending on specific conditions of centralized heating systems. EFFECT: increased economic efficiency, ecological purity and safety due to better converting of inner fuel energy into low-potential heat for users, and decreased heat losses upon transmission and distribution to users. 6 cl, 7 dwg
