FIELD: thermal engineering; direct-contact heat-transfer apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has case with working medium supply pipes and shaped shells placed in casing and used to organize coaxial channels with respective nozzles. Outlet section of shell has contraction and enters mixing chamber with part of its space sectionalized lengthwise into coaxial zones. Each channel has respective paired pipes carrying different media. Non- sectionalized part of mixing chamber cavity is made in the form of contraction section. Outlet section of contraction may be provided with cylindrical pipe and non-sectionalized part of mixing chamber cavity may be made in the form of cylinder and contraction joined in tandem along media flow. EFFECT: provision for controlling temperature and flowrate of mixture thereby extending operating range of apparatus. 3 cl, 2 dwg
