FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out whole blood luminol - dependent chemiluminescence examination using special device. 0.1 ml of heparin-treated patient blood (50 units of heparin per 1 ml of blood) is added to 2 ml of physiological salt solution with 0,1•10-5 M of luminol and spontaneous chemiluminescence is recorded during 10 min. To study induced spontaneous chemiluminescence, 0.1 ml of patient blood is mixed with 0.01 ml of one day old staphylococcus culture (109 of microbial cells in 1 ml) and incubated during 2 min. Physiological salt solution mixed with luminol is added. Drop in values of spontaneous whole blood chemiluminescence like spontaneous luminescence being less than 0.35 relative units, luminescence photosum being less than 8.0 relative units, the like values in the case of induced spontaneous luminescence being less than 1.4 and 30.0 relative units, respectively, inhibited active oxygen forms production is diagnosed in which intravascular blood laser irradiation is indicated and effective. Increase in whole blood chemiluminescence like spontaneous luminescence being greater than 0.45 relative units, luminescence photosum being greater than 10.0 relative units, the like values in the case of induced spontaneous luminescence being greater than 2.0 and 50.0 relative units, respectively, increased active oxygen forms production is diagnosed in which intravascular blood laser irradiation is contraindicated. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
