FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: method for determining instant barometric coefficients of cosmic-ray neutron component at different levels of the Earth atmosphere depends on using data obtained when observing intensity of cosmic-ray neutron component and atmospheric pressure at mentioned levels. To this end, two or more detectors of cosmic-ray neutron component are required to be placed at different levels in the Earth atmosphere together with pressure sensors. Differences between base pressures at lower and upper levels of observation should not be lower than 90 and 100 mb. Instant values of barometric coefficients of cosmic-ray neutron component can be used for introducing more confident corrections concerning barometric effect in observation data on intensity of cosmic rays at world cosmic-rays network. EFFECT: provision for determining barometric coefficients irrespective of conditions in interplanetary space.
