FIELD: accelerating equipment, in particular, ion beam accelerators. SUBSTANCE: device has housing and electrodes, which have inner hollows and axial longitudinal shape, which conforms to quasi- periodic function and provides accelerating-focusing channel consisting of accelerating cells. Electrode hollows contains and fix pole members, which provide quadruple magnetic lenses, so that each accelerating cells has no more than one magnetic lens, which geometric longitudinal center is spaced from quadruple symmetry plane of accelerating cells along direction accelerated beam by distance of Δz = βnλϕsn/2π, where βn is mean velocity of accelerated particles in n-th accelerating cell with respect to speed of light, λ is working wavelength, ϕsn is synchronous phase of n-th accelerating cell. Lens length is not greater than length of this accelerating cell. Lenses corresponding to adjacent accelerating cells are turned about each other by right angle in order to provide opposite phase reaction to beam. EFFECT: increased focusing forces, , which effect accelerated beam, decreased cross size of beam. 8 cl, 9 dwg
