FIELD: systems for purification and disinfection of sewage and drinkable water. SUBSTANCE: device has ionizer - electron accelerator, discharge gap - gas-discharge chamber, electrodes of discharge gap and dielectric structure. Discharge gap electrodes are made of a set of lattices passing working gas and electron beam. Lattices are connected by pairs to opposite poles of power supply source with grounded midpoint and installed with their planes parallel to gas flow and across axis of electron beam, or parallel to working gas flow and parallel to axis of electron beam, or perpendicular to working gas flow and parallel to axis of electron beam. In this case, outlet foil window of accelerator has grounded lattice which passes electrons. End face of gas discharge chamber is made in form of grounded wall of channel for conveying water.
