FIELD: manufacture of instrument for medical diagnostics and acoustic transformers. SUBSTANCE: piezoceramic material comprises oxides of lead, zirconium, titanium, cadmium, tungsten, cobalt, germanium and boron, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: PbO, 67.34-68.69; ZrO2, 19.52-19.62; TiO2, 10.75-10.80; CdO, 0.38-0.39; WO3, 0.69-0.70; CoO, 0.98- 0.99; GeO2, 0.08-0.15; and B2O3, 0.10-0.11. Invention makes it possible to prepare piezoceramic material with lower dielectric permeability (tgδ = 0,7-0,9%) and higher sensitivity to strain (g33= 41-48•10-3 Bm/H) by method of conventional ceramic technology. EFFECT: improved properties of the piezoceramic material. 3 tbl
