SUBSTANCE: goal of invention is achieved by additional operation of generation of magnetic field in region about object to be protected, and mounting metal magnetic dipole on standard diverter of lightning rod. Intensity of magnetic field in the said region is greater than intensity of Earth geomagnetic field. Magnetic dipole attracts lightning balls that appear in its vicinity and destroys them. EFFECT: protection against all known lightning types, protection against ball lightning permeation, increased reliability of protection. 1 dwg
