FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes heating of reaction mass in apparatuses with multizone heating of reaction mass and comparison of signals of temperature sensors with values preset for each heating zone. Temperature in each zone of apparatus is maintained by varying supplied power by switching on and off the heater. Actual values of temperature regulator output signals of the zones of heating are measured, and process stages are controlled over by actual values of temperature regulator output signals. Prior to beginning of process, adjustment parameters of temperature regulators of each heating zone are preset. In the course of process, results of comparison of temperature sensors signals and preset values are used for normalization of continuous output signals of temperature regulators and variation of heating input power of each apparatus zone in proportion to values of actual output signals of respective temperature regulators. Application of the method results in raising of process efficiency and reduction of power consumption due to improved quality of temperature regulation in apparatus heating zones during separation process. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg, 1 ex
