FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying microbiological examination of quantitative micro-organisms contents in prostate secret and ejaculate in addition to common use examination methods. Microbiological examination of the following clinical material samples is introduced: first portion of free flow urine, middle portion of urine, prostate secret taken after massage, urine portion taken immediately after performing massage, urine portion taken 30-40 min later after performing massage, ejaculate sample. Microorganism growth being observed and their concentration being determined, diagnosis is set. Urethritis diagnosis is set when microorganism species selected from free flow urine distinguishes from microorganisms detected in other urine portions or their concentration exceeds those in other urine portions at least by 2 lg units/ml (prostate secret and ejaculate microorganism growth being absent or not greater than 3 lg units/ml norm). Cystitis diagnosis is set when one and the same microorganism species concentration separated from middle portion of urine exceeds the like in the other urine samples not less than by 2 lg units/ml (prostate secret and ejaculate sample microorganism growth being absent or not greater than 3 lg units/ml norm). Pyelonephritis is set when one and the same microorganism species is selected from free flow urine, middle portion urine, urine portion taken immediately after performing massage, urine portion taken 30-40 min later after performing massage samples in the same concentration ( prostate secret and ejaculate microorganism growth being absent or not greater than 3 lg units/ml norm). Prostatitis diagnosis is set when microorganism species concentration separated from prostate secret sample taken after massage is greater than that separated from middle portion of urine and urine portion taken immediately after performing massage not less than by 2 lg units/ml (ejaculate sample microorganism growth being absent or not greater than 3 lg units/ml norm). Microorganism species in middle portion of urine, prostate secret taken after massage, urine portion taken immediately after performing massage can be of the same or different ones. Inflammatory process in reproductive part of the urogenital system diagnosis is set when microorganism species selected from ejaculate sample are distinguished from those in prostate secret and urine sample taken after massage. their concentration exceeds microorganism concentration in prostate secret and urine samples not less than by 2 lg units/ml. EFFECT: reliability information describing inflammation process in any area of male urogenital system; enhanced accuracy of diagnosis.
