METHOD FOR DETECTING LOW-COPY-NUMBER DNA OF NEISSERIA GONORRHOEAE IN LOW- AND ASYMPTOMATIC GONOCOCCAL INFECTIONS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B10/00 C12Q1/6806

Abstract RU 2716705 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for detecting low-molecular molecular markers Neisseria gonorrhoeae for use in diagnosing patients with low- and asymptomatic urogenital gonococcal infections. A method for detecting low-copy-number DNA of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in a small- and asymptomatic gonococcal infection involves sampling the first portion of morning urine in amount of 20 ml, stirring the flask, concentrating the volume of the first portion of morning urine by centrifugation at 12,000 rpm for 30 minutes in conical centrifuge tubes 15 ml; then supernatant is removed, sediments are combined and washed from salts and inhibitors with physiologic saline in one sterile test tube in volume of 2 ml, concentrated by centrifugation at 12,000 rpm for 10 minutes, complete removal of the supernatant is carried out; a residue is left on the bottom of the test tube, to which a lysing buffer is added, in the volume provided by sets of reagents for DNA extraction by a sorption method containing 1 washing, and amplified by a set of reagents with analytical sensitivity of not less than 102 GE/ml.

EFFECT: invention improves the method of detecting Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA with low- and asymptomatic urogenital gonococcal infection.
