METHOD FOR APPLYING SECONDARY PROPHYLAXIS OF MYOCARDIAL ISCHEMIA IN EARLY PHYSICAL REHABILITATION OF MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying physical training exercises complex during 4 months. The treatment consists of warming-up exercises during 20-30 min, bicycle ergometer exercises of moderate loading intensity and intensive loading exercises under continuous control of heart beat rate in patient under given training loading defined as sum of difference between individual threshold heart beat rate and rest heart beat rate, and percent quantity from individual threshold heart beat rate and rest heart beat rate. Training load is set to equal to 50-60% of individual threshold heart beat rate during the first two months. The value is determined after bicycle ergometer test carried out before beginning of the training. Next two months, the training load is defined as 70-90 % of new individual threshold heart beat rate measured after applying the second bicycle ergometer test. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of convalescence treatment. 3 cl, 5 tbl
