FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining information indices of hemostasiogram like fibrinogen B level, blood platelets number, K parameter of thromboelastogram under conditions of high contact hemocoagulation activation. Then discriminant functions F1 and F2 are determined at the following formulas: F1=-K1 x A - K2 x B - K3 x C + const1, F2=-K4 x A + K5 x B + K6 x C - const1, where A is the fibrinogen B level in blood plasma (g/l), B is the blood platelets number (x 109/l), C is the K parameter of thromboelastogram under conditions of high contact hemocoagulation (mm), K1-K6 are coefficients, where K1=1.012, K2=0.003, K3=0.038, K4=0.36, K5= 0.02, K6= -0.03, const1= 4.16, const2=4.96. The value of F1 > 0.2, and F2 >0.5, blood losses volume is predicted to be less than 500 ml. The value of F1 > 0.2, and F2 <-0.2, blood losses volume is predicted to be from 500 to 1000 ml. The value of F1 <-0.5, and F2 >0.2, blood losses volume is predicted to be greater than 1000 ml. The value of F1 being from -0.5 to 0.2 and F2 being from -0.2 to 0.5, uncertain prediction zone is to be the case. EFFECT: simplified low cost method; high level of reproducibility.
