CONTACTOR Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering, switching devices of electromagnetic type. SUBSTANCE: given contactor has case with guides, casing with core and coil, casing with armature and cross-pieces of main mobile contacts, block with immobile system of main contacts anchored on case, arc chute, block-contact attachments with cross-pieces and return springs. Case has side recesses where block-contact attachments are located. It is made of two parts: base with longitudinal protrusions on sides of central opening in it and U-shaped structure laid on edges of side walls with flanges along edges of these walls. Flanges are bent outwards on one side of structure and inwards on its other side. In this case guides of case are formed by interjoined flanges of structure bent inwards and by longitudinal protrusions of base. Such design of case makes it possible to manufacture its base and structure from thin sheet material with thinner walls and to cancel usage of aluminum castings which leads to reduced usage of materials for manufacturing process and to avoid employment of such parts as slider and axle in design of contactor. EFFECT: decreased dimensions of contactor, reduced usage of materials for its manufacture. 1 cl, 4 dwg
