FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves hydraulic cooling of fruit or vegetable and charging into temperature-controlled storage. Hydraulic cooling is provided by means of aqueous solution of jasmonic acid salt with N-heterocyclic bases. Method is used for preparing newly harvested fruit or vegetable for prolonged storage. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced corrosive wear of equipment used for hydraulic cooling of fruit or vegetable.
