FIELD: metallurgy, more particularly heat resistant austenite steel for manufacturing products operating in highly aggressive organic fuels. SUBSTANCE: pipes which are surfaces of heating of steam superheaters are manufactured from the claimed steel. Steel comprises carbon, chromium, manganese, silicon, nickel, copper, titanium, niobium, iron and impurities and also aluminium, zirconium, cerium and boron, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: carbon, 0.05-0.15; silicon 1.0-2.0; manganese, 8.0-16.0; chromium, 8.0-15.0; nickel, 0.5-3.8; copper, 0.8-6.0; zirconium, 0.01-0.09; cerium, 0.01-0.15; titanium, 0.04- 0.1; niobium, 0.2-3.0; aluminium, 0.01-0.25; boron, 0.001-0.08; iron and impurities, the balance. EFFECT: improved properties of steel, more specifically heat resistance at operating temperatures up to 650 C, greater plasticity by 2 times and service period of steel by 2 or 3 times. 4 tbl
