FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves washing, thermal treatment and grinding of cereal base; introducing wheat siftings and buds of tea growing in the Kurily islands into fried cereal base containing oats, pearl barley or rice groats, with tea buds being preliminarily dried to moisture content not exceeding 8% and ground into particles two times smaller than cereal base particles. Method allows product with increased content of biologically active substances to be produced. Biologically active substances facilitate diabetes prophylaxes and strengthening of human health. Such product may be used in expeditions and under extreme conditions, and as medicinal and prophylactic product in public catering enterprises.
