FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring electric conductivity value in 24 biologically active points conjugated to 12 classic meridians and positioned on urinary bladder meridian in the area of skin zones of Abrams at the level of vertebral motor segment. The values are plotted against polar diagram axes. Normal profile is built. All 24 values belonging to the area within the boundaries of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is considered to be normal. 1-12 values violating the upper boundary of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is considered to have disorders at the level of corresponding segments following the algetic mode with reflex muscular tonic component. 1-12 values violating the lower boundary of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is considered to have disorders following the vegetative vascular mode with reflex ischemia component. More than 12 of 24 values violating the upper boundary of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is considered to have disorders following the reflex muscular hypertonia mode. More than 12 of 24 values violating the lower boundary of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is considered to have disorders following the reflex muscular hypotonia mode. The values violating both upper and lower boundary of the normal profile, functional state of the vertebral column is diagnosed by analyzing domination of the violation tendencies.
