DISINTEGRATOR-CONDENSER FOR HEAVY WATER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: disintegration of associates of protium water, preparation of deuterium water in production of protein-vitamin additives and cleaning of water taken from open basin for drinking purposes. SUBSTANCE: disintegrator-condenser includes cylindrical housing provided with suction and discharge branch pipes, rotor located along axis of housing with holes perpendicular relative to its surface and engageable with recesses of housing; these recesses are made in ring; cavity formed between ring and housing is separated from suction and discharge branch pipes and is communicated with protium and deuterium water mixture receiver. This receiver is connected with separator and electrolysis chamber by means of subsequent stages of disintegrators. Suction branch pipe is communicated with open water basin through two filters; discharge branch pipe is connected with bell-mouth of volute whose flat portion is communicated with pipe perpendicular to wall of flat portion of volute. Pipe is provided with flat spiral located inside it and is connected with biofilter whose lower section is communicated with centrifugal microfilter provided with nonrigid filtering partition; potable water is drained into receiver. Sediment section of microfilter is communicated with press-filter, drier and protein-vitamin additive receiver.
