FIELD: physical-chemical treatment of sewages. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of sewages from coloring plants, in part, to reagents used for extraction of paint and varnish materials diluted in water and organic solvents from water. Activated bentonite, anionic poly-electrolyte (molecular mass is from 5 000 000 to 15 000 000 Da, content of anionic groups is 5%, not less) and sodium carbonate are added additionally to coagulating agent used for treatment of sewages and based on bi- and trivalent metal chlorides or sulfates or their mixtures and cationic polyelectrolyte in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: bi- and trivalent metal chloride or sulfates or their mixtures, 30-55; activated bentonite, 3-65; cationic poly-electrolyte, 1-2; anionic polyelectrolyte, 1-2 and sodium carbonate, the balance. Claimed coagulating agent enhances effectiveness of sewage treatment from paint and varnish materials up to 98-99.4%, broadens spectrum of effect and decreases consumption by 6-7 times. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of agent. 3 cl, 3 tbl, 11 ex
